What the G.Flow stone paper laptop stand is

Stone paper is not made from trees. Grape Lab says its sheet is 80% limestone powder, a waste product from mining, and 20% recycled HDPE (high-density polyethylene) plastic. The result is strong, waterproof and folds like card.

The stand is folded from that single sheet, with no glue and no coating. Its pleats raise the back of the laptop, and the creases leave gaps for air to reach the underside. When you finish work, it folds flat to go in a bag.

Grape Lab calls it "the laptop stand that is as light as paper, but strong as stone."

Who the G.Flow stand suits

It suits people who work from a laptop in different places, such as a café, a library or a hot desk. At 90g, it adds almost nothing to a bag, unlike an aluminium riser.

It also works for students and for anyone who draws on a tablet, since the slope helps with both. For the rest of a home office, see our best desk accessories guide.

The limits

It has one fixed angle and one height. If you need the screen at eye level, you will still want a proper riser and a separate keyboard.

Grape Lab is based in Seoul, so delivery is international, and stock on Etsy runs low.

Finally, the price is close to £33 once delivery is added. That is more than many plastic stands, so you pay for the weight, the material and the design.

Where to buy it in the UK

Grape Lab does not run its own UK checkout. It sells the stand through its Etsy shop, where this item has an average rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 65 reviews. The full details are on Grape Lab's product page. We could not find it on Amazon UK.
