What the Belkin SoundForm Isolate Buds are

Belkin's SoundForm range covers cheap wireless earbuds and headphones. Until these arrived on 15 October 2026, none of its earbuds had active noise cancellation. The Isolate Buds add hybrid cancelling, which uses microphones on the outside and inside of each bud together.

Belkin also sells an over-ear SoundForm Isolate headphone at £49.99. This page covers the earbuds, model AUC017, which come in black, grey and orange.

The limits

The 45dB figure is Belkin's own claim, not an independent measurement. So treat it as the maker's best case rather than a test result.

IPX5 covers sweat and rain, but not swimming. So keep them out of the pool and the shower.

Multipoint is also limited to two devices. If you use a phone, a laptop and a tablet, you still have to switch one of them by hand.

Fast charging is modest. Ten minutes gives about an hour, so a flat pair will not last a long journey on a quick top-up.

Finally, the noise cancelling only works well when the seal holds. So try all three ear tip sizes before deciding they are not quiet enough.
