Ostrichpillow Go – memory foam travel neck pillow ideal for UK flights and long journeys

Ostrichpillow Go Travel Neck Pillow

Last updated: 4 October 2026

The Ostrichpillow Go is a memory foam travel pillow that wraps all the way round your neck and fastens at the front, so your chin is held up when you fall asleep sitting upright. It compresses by up to 60% into its own travel bag, and the cover comes off for the washing machine. On 4 October 2026 it cost £69 on Amazon UK, sold by Amazon, the same price as Ostrichpillow's own UK shop.

How the Ostrichpillow Go holds your head

Most travel pillows are a U shape that is open at the front, so your head drops forward as soon as you nod off. The Go closes that gap. It goes right round your neck, and a hook-and-loop strap at the front lets you tighten it until it supports your chin.

The two sides are different heights. Ostrichpillow says you can wear the fastening at the front or turn it round to the back, depending on whether you sleep with your head forward or tipped to one side.

The filling is high-density memory foam made with BASF, which moulds to the shape of your neck. The cover is modal, a soft fabric made from wood pulp, and it comes off for the wash.

Who it suits

  • Long-haul flyers in economy: the closed front stops your head rolling forward when the seat barely reclines.
  • Train and coach commuters: it packs into its own bag between journeys.
  • Anyone who has given up on inflatable pillows: memory foam needs no blowing up and does not go soft as air leaks out.

Ostrichpillow also makes an ergonomic eye mask that pairs with it, and our gift guide for travel lovers has more presents for people who are always heading somewhere.

The limits

£69 is a lot for a travel pillow when a basic memory foam U pillow costs a fraction of that. You are paying for the wraparound fit and the washable cover.

It is still bulky. Even squashed into its bag, a foam pillow takes up more space than an inflatable one, so it suits a cabin bag better than a jacket pocket.

Reviews are mixed. Amazon UK buyers rate it 3.9 out of 5 from 3,123 ratings. If you dislike anything snug round your throat, the front fastening may bother you.

Only the cover goes in the washing machine. The foam inside cannot be washed.

Where to buy the Ostrichpillow Go in the UK

Amazon UK sells it at £69, sold by Amazon with 30-day returns. The Ostrichpillow Go page on Ostrichpillow's UK site has the full colour range at the same price.
