The Barbican cat scarf is a woven blue scarf covered in cats drawn in pale outline, with a black fringe at each end. The Barbican Shop sells it as the Sketched Cats Woven Scarf for £14.95, as part of its Artsy Cats range. Standard delivery adds £4.50, so one scarf comes to £19.45. I checked the price and stock on the Barbican Shop on 11 October 2026.
The pattern is a repeat of cats in different poses. Some are curled up, some are stretched out, and each has whiskers and dotted fur. Because the cats are drawn in outline and in only two colours, the scarf reads as a pattern from a distance and as cats up close.
The shop lists the colour as navy. In its photo the cloth is a strong mid blue, the cats are a pale grey-cream, and a pale stripe runs above the black fringe at both ends. The inside of the loop is pale too, so the reverse looks to carry the same cats in swapped colours.
The Barbican Shop does not give the length, width or fabric, and I struggled to find them from the supplier, Pure Fashions. The shop does give a weight of 160g, which is about the same as a smartphone. So expect a mid-weight scarf for autumn and spring rather than a thick winter wrap.
If the fibre matters to you, for example because wool makes you itch, email the shop at [email protected] before you order. There is also only one product photo, at a small size, so you cannot zoom in on the weave.
The shop usually dispatches within two working days and aims to deliver in three to five. Delivery is £4.50 on a single scarf, which is almost a third of its price. Spending £75 removes the charge, so it makes sense to buy it alongside other presents from the shop rather than on its own.
Unwanted items can go back unused, in their original packaging, by registered post within 28 days. You pay the return postage, and the shop refunds within seven days of receiving them. Full details are on the Barbican Shop returns page.
The Barbican Shop sells it online. Its Artsy Cats range has the rest of the cat gifts, from £3.95 hair claws to a £34.95 book. For more presents from gallery shops at this price, our guide to cheap gifts that look expensive has fourteen picks under £25.
