Pablo Picasso (1881 to 1973) is the artist whose Three Dancers and Weeping Woman hang at Tate. Here you will find our take on his work, the Theatre Picasso show at Tate Modern and the books you can buy.

Our take on Pablo Picasso

Tate Modern’s Theatre Picasso looked at his work through performance, bringing together over 50 works, according to Tate. The show was co-curated by the artist Wu Tsang.

It centred on The Three Dancers (1925) and Weeping Woman (1937), both in Tate’s collection, alongside loans including Acrobat (1930) from the Musée national Picasso-Paris and Henri-Georges Clouzot’s 1956 film The Mystery of Picasso.

The exhibition book is the easiest way to take the show home.
