Corbin Shaw ENGL’ISH’ print

Last updated: 15 October 2026

This Corbin Shaw print puts the word ENGL’ISH’ across a St George’s cross, in the flag-and-slogan style Shaw is known for. It is an A3 giclée print, signed by the artist, printed in London and sold as an open edition. Shaw’s own shop sells it for £100 unframed, £160 in a wooden frame or £170 in an aluminium frame, and it was in stock when I checked on 15 October 2026.

What the Corbin Shaw print shows

The print is a red cross on white with ENGL’ISH’ set in heavy black capitals across the middle.

It sits alongside Shaw’s flags and banners, which take familiar national symbols and add short slogans. The St George’s cross turns up across his work.

Who Corbin Shaw is

Corbin Shaw was born in Sheffield, grew up in a village nearby and now works in London, according to Creative Review. He is best known for textiles: banners, wall hangings, flags and shirts carrying terse slogans. Football chants and fan culture run through his work, and he showed in football-themed exhibitions at Oof Gallery and the Design Museum in 2022.

The limits

It is an open edition, so it is not numbered or limited. Shaw’s smaller Hard Cash print was a numbered edition of 50, and that has sold out.

Shaw’s shop says all sales are final, with no returns, exchanges or refunds. So check the size against your wall before you order. The framed versions cost £60 to £70 more than the print alone.

Where to buy it in the UK

Corbin Shaw sells the print from his own online shop. He also offers custom framing through his framer in East London, with a light stained wooden frame, a float mount and anti-reflective glass, priced on request.
