The Segway Navimow i208 is a wire-free robot lawnmower for lawns up to 800 square metres. It finds its way with LiDAR and a camera, so there is no boundary wire to bury and no antenna to put up. Navimow sells it for £1,099, and on 12 October 2026 Amazon UK had it at £1,099.

The i208 is the 800 square metre model in Navimow's i2 LiDAR range, which went on sale in the UK in February 2026. Bigger versions cover 1,000, 1,500 and 2,000 square metres, so check the number before you order.
Satellite-guided mowers can lose signal under trees. Instead, the i2 LiDAR reads the garden with a LiDAR sensor and a 140 degree colour camera.
It will not cut right to the edge. The cutting deck sits in the middle, so Gardeners' World and T3 both found a strip left along borders. You still need a strimmer.
Automatic mapping does not always work. T3's reviewer could not get it to run, so they drove the boundary manually instead. That took about 10 minutes on a 7 by 4 metre lawn, so allow time on day one.
Steep or bumpy ground is harder. Gardeners' World found it copes less well on slopes than all-wheel-drive mowers. The rear wheels can also mark soft grass on uneven lawns, so rough ground suits Navimow's i2 AWD range better.
It does not collect clippings, and 4G data is paid for after year one.
Navimow sells it direct at £1,099. The bundle adds the Garage M cover, four spare blades and an extra year of warranty for £1,299. The specification is on the Navimow UK i2 LiDAR page. Meanwhile, Amazon UK had the i208 at £1,099 on 12 October 2026.

No. The central cutting deck leaves a strip along borders and fences, so you will still need a strimmer.
Up to 45%, which is 24 degrees. On rougher ground, an all-wheel-drive mower copes better.
