The range used to be called Stellar 7000, and the set still carries the code S7C1D. If you see 7000 on the box or in a listing, it is the same set.
How the draining lids work
Each saucepan lid is glass with draining holes on both sides. Line up the holes with the rim, hold the lid down and tip the pan. The water drains and the food stays in.
Stellar says the lids also have vents, so the pans do not boil over as easily. The saucepans have measuring marks inside, which saves getting a jug out for rice or stock.
Materials and hobs
The saucepans are 18/10 stainless steel with a high-conductivity base. That base spreads heat across the bottom of the pan and makes them work on induction as well as gas, ceramic, halogen and solid plate hobs.
The frying pan has a three-layer non-stick coating. The handles are cast steel, so the pans can go in the oven up to 240°C and the glass lids up to 180°C.

The limits
£149.95 is a lot for five pans if you only cook occasionally. A cheaper supermarket set will boil pasta too, just without the draining lids or the guarantee.
The non-stick frying pan is the part that wears out first. Its coating is guaranteed for 10 years, while the stainless pans are covered for life.
There is no large stockpot or sauté pan in the set. If you batch-cook or make big soups, you will need to add one.
