Amazon practically invented the eReader market when it released the original kindle in 2007and since then they've gone from strength to strength. They offer a full range of readers now from the standard kindle through to the souped-up Kindle Oasis. To be fair any of these devices will serve you well and be a pleasure to read from but the Paperwhite with its super clear display, backlight and waterproof rating is our absolute fave and will delight anyone. Pair it with kindle unlimited and live the dream.
