Oddbox is a UK subscription service that delivers rescued fruit and veg straight to your door. It sources produce that supermarkets reject for being too wonky, too small, or simply too abundant, and passes it on at a lower price. Boxes start from £11.49 plus £1.99 delivery, with weekly or fortnightly schedules and no lock-in contract.

Oddbox was founded in 2016 after its founders discovered that 20-40% of produce in the UK is wasted before it even leaves the farm. Supermarkets apply strict cosmetic standards, rejecting fruit and veg that tastes perfectly fine but does not look the part. Oddbox steps in, buys that surplus and wonky produce from growers, and delivers it in subscription boxes across selected parts of the UK.
Since launching, Oddbox has rescued over 62,000 tonnes of fruit and veg and worked with more than 110 growers in the UK and further afield. The company is based at New Covent Garden Market in London and holds an Excellent rating on Trustpilot from nearly 20,000 reviews.
The process is simple:
You can pause, skip, or cancel at any time. There is no lock-in, no minimum commitment, and no cancellation fee.
All boxes carry a flat £1.99 delivery charge on top of the box price.

Alongside the fruit and veg boxes, Oddbox runs The Market: an add-on shop selling rescued pantry staples, loose refillables, and products from B Corp and organic brands. Items are available at up to 45% off RRP, with a £20 minimum order. The Market delivery arrives with your regular box, so there is no extra delivery charge.
Oddbox currently delivers to selected postcodes across London, the South of England, and parts of the Midlands, including areas around Bristol and Brighton. New areas are added regularly. If your postcode is not yet covered, you can join the waiting list on the Oddbox website.
Deliveries happen overnight between 7pm and 8am. You choose a safe spot for your box, and Oddbox leaves it there on your delivery night. There is no option to select a specific time slot — drivers follow carbon-efficient routes to keep emissions low.
Oddbox runs a referral programme that gives new subscribers £10 off their first box. You can claim this through our Oddbox discount code page — the saving is applied automatically at sign-up, with no promo code to enter.

Abel & Cole and Riverford focus on organic, premium produce at higher price points. Oddbox focuses on rescued produce that would otherwise go to waste, making it generally cheaper. The trade-off is less predictability in what you receive each week. For a different kind of subscription, see our best vegan meal kits UK round-up.
