AI that lists what it changed, prices explained up front, and a clear off switch

The eight apps new on Mobbin November 2026 come from two feeds. The iOS feed and the Web feed surface different apps, so I picked four from each. As a result, this edition covers a train booking app, a party camera, a try-on app and a screenshot app on iOS, plus four AI tools for forms, notes, projects and design on the Web.

Across the eight, three patterns kept turning up. First, the AI features now show their working. Tally lists every block it added to your form, and Plane offers labels you apply yourself. Second, more apps explain a number or a limit before you rely on it, as Trainline does with its estimated fares. Third, Pool puts a plain sentence on its AI off switch that says exactly what happens to your data.

What is new on Mobbin November 2026? The eight picks are below. For every edition of the series in one place, see my Mobbin new apps hub, which I update each month.

01 For the price calendar

Trainline

Trainline sells train and coach tickets across the UK and Europe, and it arrived on Mobbin with 38 flows. The one worth studying is Estimated prices information, which is only two screens long.

First, the outbound date picker shows a whole month with a fare printed under every day. Meanwhile, the cheapest day gets a green tile, and dates without a fare show a small magnifying glass instead of a number. Under the calendar, a line reads "One way, adult fares", next to an info icon and a Show prices toggle. Tap the icon and a sheet called Estimated prices explains the figures. Each one is "the lowest adult economy ticket fare found by our customers on Trainline", rounded up, updated daily and "exclusive of booking fee". It also says that discount cards and coach journeys are left out.

The booking fee left out of every figure. The number under each date is not the price you pay, because the booking fee comes on top, and the only place that says so is behind a small info icon. The capture also shows fares in US dollars rather than pounds. If you travel with a Railcard, those discounts are excluded too, and my Railcard discount code page covers how much a card takes off.

Once iOS screens asking when the event finishes, and how many guests and shots per person the film should allow
Once asks when your event finishes, then how many shots each guest gets.
02 For the closing time

Once

Once is a shared disposable camera for weddings, birthdays and parties. On its own site, guests join by scanning a QR code without downloading anything, and the album is revealed after the event. It came onto Mobbin with 42 flows, and Creating a film takes twelve screens.

The setup asks about the event in the order you would think about it. First, it asks what brings you to Once, with six tiles from Wedding day to Company events. Next, you name the film, with suggestions such as "Our Anniversary". Then a calendar asks "When does your event finish?" and explains the rule underneath: "The film opens now, and guests can capture photos until the film closes at your chosen time."

After that, the last screen sets the limits. A row of chips offers 5, 10, 16, 24 or 36 shots per person, or unlimited, while a counter dial above them shows the number you picked. Finally, a Visibility permissions toggle decides whether "Everyone can see all photos", and it starts switched off.

The guest limit with no price beside it. The guest row reads "Up to 5 Participants" with the word Free on the right, and three more empty seats sit greyed out. However, nothing on that screen says what a bigger guest list costs, so you only find out later.

Section 02 · AI that shows its working

Three tools that tell you what their AI just did

A form builder with a change log, a notes app that keeps the transcript beside the report, and a project tool that suggests labels you have to approve.

Tally web form editor with the Ask Tally panel listing 27 added blocks, one logic rule and two updated blocks
The Ask Tally panel lists what it built, beside the form it just made.
03 For the change log

Tally

Tally is a form builder that "works like a doc": you type a forward slash to insert a question, the same way you would in a notes app. It landed on Mobbin with 70 flows, and Creating a form with AI is six of them.

A blank form offers four starts: from scratch, Create with AI, a template or an import. Choose AI and a panel called Ask Tally opens with a Beta badge. In the flow, the request is a plain list of fields, from contact details to delivery and payment method. Then the reply arrives as three lines with icons: "Added 27 blocks", "Applied 1 logic rule" and "Updated 2 blocks". Underneath, a short paragraph explains the decisions in words. It shows the Size question only when a T-shirt or hoodie is picked, and it made the order notes optional.

Counts instead of a list. The log says 27 blocks were added, but it does not name them or link to them. As a result, checking the one logic rule means scrolling the form to find the question it belongs to.

04 For the report kept beside the source

Voicenotes

Voicenotes records and transcribes meetings and voice memos, and it now sells itself as "The notetaker for your confidential meetings". It arrived with 65 flows. Creating a meeting report takes six screens and starts from a two-minute note about a product design sync.

Each note carries three buttons: Ask AI, Create and Share. Create opens a menu of eleven outputs. They run from Summary, Meeting report and To-do list to Tweet, Blog post, Email, a Mind map marked Beta and a Custom prompt. Pick Meeting report and a green line says "Creating meeting report from your note". The finished report then appears inside the same note, under the original text, rather than replacing it. It has an overview, observations grouped under headings, a section on timing and a list of action items. At the bottom sit Copy and Delete, plus the date the report was made.

The Record button over the report. A large black Record button floats at the bottom of the window, and on a long report it sits on top of the text. In the capture it covers part of the timing section, so you have to scroll past it to read those lines.

05 For triage with a human in charge

Plane

Plane is open source project management that calls itself "AI-native". It is the largest of this month's picks, with 215 flows. Accepting an intake is three of them, and it shows how requests from outside the team become real work.

Intake is an inbox for feedback and requests. Each item opens with a Pending badge and two buttons, Accept and Decline, above the request in full. Press Accept and a modal asks you to move it into the project. It shows the state, priority, labels, start date, due date, cycle and module as a row of chips. Then, below those, a line headed "AI suggestion for label" offers four labels and an Apply all button. Nothing is applied until you click it. Finally, Add to project closes the modal and a toast confirms the work item was created.

Two kinds of suggestion that look different. Two of the suggested labels appear as coloured chips and two appear with a plus sign. Nothing on the screen explains the difference, so you have to guess which labels already exist in the project.

An honest off switch, and a style you can move

A screenshot app that says what turning off its AI deletes, and a design generator that copies one layout's look onto another.

Pool iOS settings with the AI Features toggle on, and the Disable AI Features confirmation dialog
Pool's settings, and the dialog that explains what switching off AI does.
06 For the off switch

Pool

Pool is "the screenshot app": it collects the screenshots on your phone into one place and sorts them into shared collections called pools. It came in with 24 flows, and Disabling AI features is three screens. Above the settings, a large pink 3D number counts your screenshots.

The first row is AI Features, switched on. Turn it off and a dialog asks "Disable AI Features?" before anything happens. Its explanation covers both the data and the files: "Screenshots won't be processed and previously processed data will be deleted from the cloud. Your screenshots stay on your device." Then the red Disable button confirms it, and the row changes to Disabled. Further down, each permission carries a reason too. Camera roll is there "To load your screenshots", and notifications "let you know when friends join Pool".

What stops working. The dialog explains the data side clearly. However, it does not say which features you lose, such as reading the text in a screenshot, so you find out by using the app. If you would rather keep photos off other people's servers altogether, my Immich page covers a self-hosted alternative to Google Photos.

Variant web canvas with a colour palette, three generated bakery website designs and a chat transferring style between two of them

07 For moving a look between layouts

Variant

Variant generates website and app designs from a prompt, and its tagline is "Endless designs for your ideas, just scroll". It arrived with 35 flows. Transferring style is three screens, and it starts after the first round of designs.

In the flow, the prompt asks for designs for a bakery "using the attached color palette", with an image of six pink and plum swatches. Variant replies with six designs, three desktop landing pages and three mobile views. It explains that each one uses the same warm tones in a different layout, from editorial to bento-style grids. Then you pick a pencil tool in the top bar, choose one design as the source and another as the target. The chat logs it as "Transferring style from" the first design "to" the second, followed by "Explored 2 designs".

The unlabelled pencil. Style transfer starts from a small pencil icon with no label, so nothing on the canvas tells you the feature is there.

Selfie tips you can see at a glance

Doji shows you a wrong photo and a right photo before it asks for six of yours.

08 For instructions you can see

Doji

Doji, new on Mobbin November 2026: Take 6 selfies screen, and tips for bright lighting and removing glasses with red and green examples Doji's selfie screen, then two tips, each with a wrong example in red and a right one in green.

Doji is a try-on app for designer fashion. It builds a digital likeness of you, then dresses it in clothes from brands such as Rick Owens, Prada and Jil Sander. It arrived with 41 flows, and Completing an account setup is fifteen screens.

The likeness comes first. A screen headed "Create your likeness" explains why: it "makes it easy to explore new styles and find clothes you'll love". Next, "Take 6 selfies" shows a model surrounded by small head shots from different angles, with the line "Don't worry if they're not perfect, we'll make you look good."

Then come the tips, and they are what make this flow worth studying. Each one is a pair of photos of the same person. "Use bright, even lighting" puts a dim, shadowed selfie in a red frame next to an evenly lit one in green. Similarly, "Remove glasses and headphones" shows the same face with and without glasses. After that, the camera opens with "Look straight ahead", a 1/6 counter and a green Good badge that reacts to your lighting. Once you review the six images, a screen asks you to turn on notifications so you know when the likeness is ready.

Six selfies and no word on where they go. None of the fifteen screens says how the photos are stored or how long Doji keeps them. That is a lot to ask before a user has seen a single outfit.

What new on Mobbin November 2026 says about app design

First, AI features are starting to show their working. Tally opens its reply with what it added, applied and updated. Voicenotes files the report under the note it came from, so the transcript stays one scroll away. Meanwhile, Plane does nothing with its suggested labels until you press Apply all. Last month, by contrast, the pattern was apps that let you ask about your own data. This month the AI also tells you what it did with it.

Second, more apps explain a number before you rely on it. Trainline says where its calendar fares come from and what they leave out. Once sets a closing time and a shot count before any guest arrives. Similarly, Doji explains a good selfie with two photos rather than a paragraph. In each case, the explanation sits on the screen where you make the decision.

Third, the off switch is getting more honest. Pool's dialog says exactly what happens to your data in two sentences. However, Doji shows the gap on the other side, because its setup asks for six selfies without saying how they are kept.

Frequently asked questions

What was new on Mobbin November 2026?

The eight picks new on Mobbin November 2026 split evenly. On iOS: Trainline, Once, Pool and Doji. On the Web: Tally, Voicenotes, Plane and Variant. Plane was the largest arrival at 215 flows, and Doji's selfie tips are the flow I would study first.

How much does Mobbin cost?

Mobbin Pro is £8 a month billed yearly for individuals and freelancers. Team is £12 per member a month billed yearly, and Enterprise has no listed price. I checked both on Mobbin's pricing page on 28 October 2026. Mobbin also offers quarterly billing, and yearly billing saves 33%. Students and educators can apply for a discount.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. You can browse Mobbin without paying. Pro adds full flows, animations, unlimited collections, Deep Search and the option to hide screen footers. So it pays for itself once you reference screens every week rather than now and then.

Do these apps work in the UK?

Trainline, Once, Pool and Doji are all on the UK App Store, and Trainline is a British company. Tally, Voicenotes, Plane and Variant are web products you can sign up to from here. However, Tally, Voicenotes and Plane price their paid plans in US dollars.

Which flow should a designer study first?

Start with Doji's selfie tips, because each one shows the mistake and the fix as two photos. After that, look at the Ask Tally reply. It shows a simple way to open an AI answer with a list of what changed.

Why cover both the iOS and the Web feeds?

Because the two lists barely overlap. For example, sorting by latest on iOS this month opened with WHOOP, Phantom, Neo Financial and X. Meanwhile, the Web list opened with Searchable, Base44, Plane and Quo. Checking only one would have missed half the picks above.
