The Zopa Regular Saver that paid 7.10% AER is no longer open to new savers. Zopa dropped it from its range during 2026, and the old product page now redirects. Existing pots carry on for the moment, and mine still shows 7.10% AER.
New saving with Zopa happens in Smart Saver instead. Access pots pay 2.95% AER (variable), Boosted notice pots pay up to 3.55% AER (variable) and fixed-term pots pay up to 4.65% AER. There is also an Access ISA at 3.25% AER (variable).

Zopa retired it. The pot used to pay 7.10% AER (variable) for six months on deposits of up to £300 a month, and it sat behind the Biscuit current account. During 2026 Zopa rebuilt both sides of the product range, so the regular saver disappeared from the line-up and the old URL now points at the easy access savings page instead.
Existing savers have not been turned off. My own pot still pays 7.10% AER and still takes its monthly deposit. However, you cannot open a new one, and Zopa has not said whether the current pots will be allowed to renew.
Everything sits inside one Smart Saver account, split into pots. Consequently you can run several goals side by side without opening separate accounts.
Rates come from Zopa's own Smart Saver page, checked on 6 September 2026. Access and Boosted rates are variable; fixed-term rates hold for the term.
Two accounts have taken Zopa's place, and both sit behind a current account.
Club Lloyds Monthly Saver, 8.00% AER fixed: twelve months on £25 to £250 a month, and unusually for a regular saver the withdrawals are unlimited and penalty-free. You need a Club Lloyds or Premier current account, and you cannot have opened a Monthly Saver in the previous twelve months. Club Lloyds costs £5 a month, refunded in full each month you pay in £2,000 or more, and the test is money paid in rather than a balance you keep. On top of the saver, the account gives you one lifestyle perk a year, with twelve months of Disney+ Standard With Ads among the choices.
First Direct Regular Saver, 7.00% AER fixed: twelve months on £25 to £300 a month, so £3,600 across the year. The lower rate on the bigger cap actually pays more in cash, about £136.50 by First Direct's own worked example. You need a first direct 1st Account, and withdrawing during the term costs you the headline rate.
Since you need the current account either way, the Lloyds route comes with something attached. Our Lloyds referral link pays £30 when you open a qualifying account, and the Monthly Saver is then a couple of taps away inside the app.

It depends what you want from it. The account is free, it pays 1% AER (variable) as standard, and you then pick one benefit: 2.75% AER (variable) interest on your balance, 3% cashback on eating out, or 3% cashback on bills. Each cashback option is capped at £150 of spending a month, so £4.50 a month at most. There is a free Caffè Nero drink every month too.

Yes. The deposit-taker is Zopa Bank Limited, which is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under firm reference number 800542. No. Zopa removed it from its range during 2026, so new pots cannot be opened. Existing pots are still running for now.
Nothing quite like it. Zopa's Smart Saver pots pay 2.95% AER with instant access, up to 3.55% AER with notice, or up to 4.65% AER fixed.
First Direct's, at a fixed 7.00% AER for 12 months on up to £300 a month, provided you hold its current account.
Yes. The Zopa Biscuit referral pays £20 once you open the account and make three card transactions within 30 days.
