QUEER AGENDA is a queer notebook with an official-looking joke on every page. Each page is headed QUEER AGENDA and HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL, like minutes for a monthly queer community meet-up. It is A5, with 150 pages of feint lined paper and a glossy cover in the colours of the inclusive Pride flag. It costs £7.99 on Amazon UK, sold and sent by Amazon.
We make this notebook at CoolCuration, so every copy sold helps fund the site. The Amazon link on this page is also an affiliate link, which means we earn a commission if you buy through it, at no extra cost to you.
It is a paperback notebook dressed up as official paperwork for the queer community. The back cover says it is "the only approved paperstock for queer writing and note taking". It also tells you to record "the agenda, the motions, the votes and who brought the snacks".
The back cover sets rules too. The contents are highly confidential, and it is "not for the straights, unless they are certified Allies". Allies may apply in writing, in their own notebook.
The title plays on "the gay agenda", a line used against LGBTQ+ people for decades to suggest a secret plot. So this queer notebook takes the accusation literally and turns it into an actual agenda, with minutes, motions and a snack rota.
There are 150 pages of feint lined paper, with 7mm between the lines. Every page carries the QUEER AGENDA and HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL header, so the joke keeps going all the way through.
At the front there is a community membership page. It has spaces for the owner's name, their role in the community and who to return it to. So the first page is a good place for a gift message.
The notebook is A5, which is half a sheet of A4, at 14.8 x 21cm. It is 9mm thick and weighs 259g, about the same as a paperback novel. As a result it fits in a tote bag and does not take over a desk.
The cover is glossy, with soft blurred shapes in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple from the rainbow flag. Alongside them sit the pink and pale blue of the trans flag. QUEER AGENDA runs across the front in heavy black capitals, with HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL at the bottom and on the spine.
It is a paperback with a glued spine, so it will not lie completely flat the way a sewn notebook does. The paper weight is not on the listing either. If you use a fountain pen or heavy marker, test it on the last page first.
QUEER AGENDA is made as a gift for queer, trans, non-binary and LGBTQ+ friends, partners, siblings and colleagues. At £7.99 it fits most Secret Santa budgets and works as a stocking filler. It also suits Pride, birthdays, a coming-out celebration or a first day at a new job.
It is a good fit for anyone who organises things: the book club, the five-a-side team, the queer choir or the group chat's annual holiday. For them the minutes and the snack rota are real.
However, think about where the notebook will be opened. The cover says QUEER AGENDA in large letters. At an office Secret Santa, that could out someone who is not out at work. Give it to people who are open about who they are, or hand it over privately.

The notebook is sold on Amazon UK at £7.99. Amazon sells and ships it, so it qualifies for Prime delivery. Gift options are available at checkout, and you can return it within 30 days of receiving it.

It is lined only. If the person you are buying for sketches, draws diagrams or plans layouts, a dot grid suits them better. Our KINDNESS MATTERS notebook is the dot grid one, at £9.99.
There are no dates or diary pages either, so it will not work as a planner. And the "not for the straights" joke means it is a present for queer people and their friends, rather than a neutral notebook for anyone.

Yes, if they like a joke about themselves. It is made as an LGBTQ+ gift, it costs under £10, and the membership page at the front gives you somewhere to write a message.
Lined. All 150 pages have feint lines 7mm apart, with the QUEER AGENDA and HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL header at the top.

CoolCuration does, and every copy sold helps fund the site. Stiven Skyrah, who writes for CoolCuration as Stiv, is named on it as a contributor.
Only if the person receiving it is openly queer at work and would enjoy it. The title is printed large on the cover, so it could out someone at work.
It is part of the joke on the back cover. An ally is a straight or cis person who supports LGBTQ+ people, as Stonewall's glossary of LGBTQ+ terms explains. Nobody hands out certificates.
