Bernadette Kerrigan is the Hereford-based painter whose work draws on Catholicism, superstition and memory. Here you will find our take on her work and her recent shows.
Our take on Bernadette Kerrigan
Kerrigan paints, draws and writes. On her University of Brighton profile she says: “I am interested in the relationship between belief and scepticism, the reliability of memory, and the productive possibilities of doubt.”
In 2024 she showed with Chris Martin, Daniel Pettitt and EJ Hauser in Everything That Happens Will Happen Today at KARST in Plymouth.
She was one of our picks from the Artist Support Pledge.
