The Belkin UltraCharge Pro 5K is a 5,000mAh magnetic power bank under 9mm thick that snaps onto the back of an iPhone and charges it wirelessly at up to 15W. It uses Belkin's BoostSolid semi-solid-state cell, which Belkin says lasts up to three times longer than a standard liquid cell.
It costs £59.99 in Black or Sand, and both colours are in stock at Belkin UK and on Amazon UK, where it is sold and shipped by Amazon. Prices were checked on 5 October 2026.
What the Belkin UltraCharge Pro 5K does
It is a slim battery for your phone. It is Qi2-certified, so it lines up with the magnets in a MagSafe iPhone or another Qi2 phone and charges at up to 15W on compatible models, without a cable. The magnets hold it in place while you use the phone.
It also has one USB-C port. That charges a phone over a cable at up to 22.5W on Samsung's fast-charging standard, or up to 20W on USB Power Delivery, which is what an iPhone uses. You can charge two devices at once, one on the back and one on the cable.
Belkin works out that a full pack adds up to 16 hours of video playback to an iPhone 17 Pro. In practice that means about one full phone charge, because some energy is lost in the transfer.
The BoostSolid cell
BoostSolid is Belkin's name for a semi-solid-state cell. It adds a gel-like layer alongside the liquid electrolyte, rather than replacing the liquid altogether, so it is not a solid-state battery. Belkin says the cell keeps at least 80% of its capacity after 1,000 charge cycles and lowers the risk of overheating, fire and swelling.

Size and build
It measures 104 x 72mm and is under 9mm thick, a bit bigger than a credit card. Belkin does not publish a weight.
The housing is metal with a soft-touch finish, and Belkin says the plastic parts, excluding the cable, are at least 52% post-consumer recycled. There is no screen, just an LED battery indicator. A 0.6m braided USB-C to USB-C cable comes in the box, and the packaging is plastic-free.
The warranty is two years. On top of that, Belkin's Connected Equipment Warranty will repair or replace a device damaged by an electrical charge while properly connected to the pack, up to £1,500.

Who it suits
It suits iPhone owners, and owners of other Qi2 phones, who want a top-up they can stick on the back and forget about for an evening out or a long commute. Because it is thin and magnetic, it works better in a pocket than a brick-shaped power bank.
If you need to charge a tablet or a laptop, or a phone more than once, the Belkin UltraCharge Pro 10K has twice the capacity, 60W over USB-C and a screen, but no magnets.
The limits
5,000mAh is about one full phone charge, not a weekend away. Wireless charging is also less efficient than a cable, because some of the energy turns into heat in the charging coils. If you want the most out of the pack, use the cable in the box.
The magnets only work with Qi2 or MagSafe-compatible phones. Most Android phones without Qi2 will need a magnetic case or the cable. Amazon UK had only five customer ratings when we checked, so there is little owner feedback so far.
