The four older models went up by £100 on 9 September, the night the iPhone 18 Pro launched. As a result, some of my earlier iPhone guides quote the lower prices from before that date. Apple's UK iPhone shop always has the current figure.

How I do it

How I cover the iPhone

I check every price, date and specification against Apple's own UK pages on the day I write, and I date the check on the page. Apple changes prices at every launch, so I never carry a figure across from an older guide.

For battery life and performance, I quote Apple's UK figures and then a named lab test beside them, because the two can differ. Where Apple's headline number applies to a model the UK does not get, I say so.

Finally, I disclose the money side at the top of every guide and mark every referral and Amazon link as sponsored. The verdicts stay mine, which is why the reviews name the weak points next to the good ones.

Which iPhone is the cheapest in the UK?

The iPhone 17e, at £699 from Apple on 21 September 2026, is the cheapest new iPhone Apple sells in the UK. A refurbished iPhone costs less again, and my best refurbished phones guide compares the UK sellers.

How much is the iPhone 18 Pro?

The iPhone 18 Pro starts at £1,199 and the iPhone 18 Pro Max at £1,299, both with 256GB. My iPhone 18 Pro UK price guide has all eight storage tiers.

Is a refurbished iPhone worth it?

For most people it is the cheaper way to get a recent iPhone, as long as you buy from a seller that grades its phones and gives a warranty. My Back Market review covers how the grades work in practice.

Do I need a new iPhone for Siri AI?

No. Apple's support page lists the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, every iPhone 16 model and later, and the iPhone Air. In the UK it is a beta in English, and you join a waitlist from Settings, then Siri.

When does the iPhone Duo go on sale?

Apple says the iPhone Duo is available to pre-order from 1pm on 16 October 2026 and goes on sale on 23 October, from £1,999. My Surprise and Shine round-up covers what Apple announced about it.
