The Cybex Cloud G3 is a rear-facing infant car seat for babies from birth to about 24 months, from 40cm to 87cm tall and up to 13kg. It replaces the Cloud G that this page used to cover, and it keeps the two things parents bought the Cloud G for: a seat that rotates 180 degrees towards the door and a lie-flat position. On 4 October 2026 Amazon UK sold the Cloud G3 Plus in Almond Beige for £189, sold and dispatched by Amazon.

The Cloud G3 is Cybex's newest infant carrier in its Gold range. It is approved to R129, the newer i-Size safety regulation, and John Lewis lists it as ISOFIX compatible. ISOFIX is the set of metal anchor points between a car's seat cushions, and the seat connects to them through the Base G3, which is sold separately.
Like the Cloud G before it, the Cloud G3 is listed with 180-degree rotation. That lets you turn the seat to face the open door, lift your baby in or out, then turn it back to rear-facing. Cybex says you can do this with one hand.
The newborn insert comes in the box. It gives a small baby a snug fit from 40cm, and you take it out once your baby needs more room.
Our gift guide for new parents has more presents for the first few months.
The base is extra. Cybex's Base G3, which works with both the Cloud G3 and the bigger Sirona G3 seat, is sold separately, so budget for it on top of the £189 seat.
Never fit a rear-facing seat in a front passenger seat with an active airbag. GOV.UK's child car seat rules say you must deactivate any front airbag before fitting a rear-facing baby seat in the front.
The Cloud G3 Plus listing on Amazon UK had only 11 ratings on 4 October 2026, because the seat is new. Check that it suits your car before you buy, because not every seat fits every car, and keep the receipt until you have fitted it.
The Cloud G3 is for babies up to about two years. After that your child moves into a forward or extended rear-facing seat, which is where the Sirona G3 on the same base comes in.
Amazon UK sells the Cloud G3 Plus in Almond Beige, Moss Green and Stone Grey, with Amazon as seller. John Lewis sells the Cloud G3 i-Size in Magic Black and Chocolate Brown for £189.95, with free Click and Collect and an in-store stock check, so you can see the seat before you buy.
The Yoto Player is a screen-free audio box for the car once your baby is older.
