Pact roasts speciality-grade coffee and sends it out days after roasting, with delivery across the UK. It has up to 200 coffees on its menu over a year, from dark espresso roasts to light filter coffees and decaf. You pick a coffee, or let Pact choose for you, then choose whole beans or a grind to suit how you brew.
Pact is a certified B Corp. It says it always pays farmers more than the Fairtrade base price, and its single-farm coffees name the farm on the bag, such as Fazenda Reis in Brazil.
If you are setting someone up to brew at home, Pact sells the AeroPress Original for £31.95, and our page on the AeroPress coffee maker covers what it does.
The 50% voucher is for the first order only. After that you pay the normal subscription price of £9.95 or more per 250g bag, so set a reminder if you only want to try it.
One-off bags cost more. A 250g bag of Fazenda Reis was £12.44 bought once against £9.95 on a plan, so the lower price depends on committing to regular deliveries.
A subscription keeps sending coffee until you pause or cancel it. You can do both online, but you do have to remember to.
The bags are not kerbside recyclable. Countryfile's tester found they go to soft-plastic collection points, which are usually at supermarkets.
Pact sells direct from its own site. Our link opens a new plan with the 50% voucher applied, and gift vouchers are on the Pact Coffee gift vouchers page.
