The PETKIT Eversweet 3 Pro is a 1.6 litre water fountain for cats and small dogs, with a stainless steel bowl and a pump that has no cable in the water. The pump carries a UVC light, which PETKIT says kills up to 99.96% of harmful bacteria such as E. coli. On 5 October 2026 it cost £66.49 on Amazon UK, sold by PETKIT-UK, against £79.99 on PETKIT's own UK shop.

Water sits in a 304 stainless steel tank and flows up through a filter to a shallow tray on top. Your cat drinks from the tray, and the water runs back down to be filtered again. About 60ml always stays in the tray, so there is still something to drink if the power goes off.
The pump sits inside the tank but has no wire attached. Instead, it takes power by magnetic induction from the base, so you can lift it straight out to clean it. The pump also switches itself off when the water runs low, which stops it running dry.
Filtering happens in four stages, using PETKIT's Filter 3.0 cartridge. PETKIT suggests a new filter every four weeks.
The UVC light runs alongside the pump, and how often it runs depends on the mode you pick in the app:
PETKIT rates the pump at below 25dB, so it can sit in a bedroom without keeping anyone awake.
The fountain connects to the PETKIT app by Bluetooth. The app tells you when the water is low and when the filter is due, and it is where you change modes.
Because it is Bluetooth rather than wifi, the app only reaches the fountain when your phone is nearby. However, if you already own another PETKIT device, such as a feeder or litter box, that device can act as a hub. In that case you can check the fountain from anywhere, as long as the two devices are within 8m of each other.
Some cats drink more from moving water. Cats Protection's advice on cats and drinking suggests a fountain for those cats. It also suggests a metal, glass or ceramic bowl rather than plastic, and water kept away from food and the litter tray. The Eversweet 3 Pro has a steel tank, and the shallow tray keeps whiskers off the sides.
If you are setting up a feeding corner, our raised pet bowl page covers a matching food bowl.
It has to stay plugged in. There is no battery, so the pump stops in a power cut and your cat only has the 60ml left in the tray.
The box includes a USB cable but no plug. So you need a spare USB plug, or a USB port nearby.
Replacement filters are an ongoing cost, because PETKIT suggests a new one every month. Without the filter, hair and food bits stay in the water.
Finally, the app runs over Bluetooth only. You cannot check the fountain from work unless you already own a second PETKIT device to act as the hub.
If your cat suddenly drinks much more or much less than usual, Cats Protection advises a trip to the vet. A fountain does not replace that check.
Amazon UK had the Eversweet 3 Pro at £66.49, sold by PETKIT-UK, which is £13.50 less than PETKIT's own shop. The PETKIT Eversweet 3 Pro UVC product page has the full spec sheet and PETKIT's answers on filters and cleaning.
