Who it suits
It suits multi-cat households where scooping two or three trays a day has become the worst job in the house, and people who are out for long stretches and want the tray dealt with while they are away. The per-cat weight tracking is genuinely useful if you have several cats and want to notice early when one of them starts going more or less often.

Buying direct, the camera-equipped Purobot Max Pro 2 is £100 more than the camera-free Max 3. On Amazon that gap narrows to about £70.
