REMEMBER Anna pleated paper table lamp in lilac, green, yellow and turquoise stripes, shaped like a mushroom

REMEMBER Anna Pleated Paper Lamp, Stripes

Last updated: 25 October 2026

The Anna 'stripes' is a pleated paper lamp from the German design company REMEMBER. It is shaped like a small mushroom and banded in lilac, green, yellow and turquoise. The shade fixes to the base with a magnet, and it takes an ordinary E14 bulb. On 25 October 2026 REMEMBER had it at €39.90 (about £33 at the European Central Bank rate on 23 October 2026; convert it at today's rate), in stock.

What the Anna pleated paper lamp is

REMEMBER is a German design brand. The Anna is its table lamp with a folded paper shade on a pleated paper stand. So the stand carries the stripes as well as the shade.

It stands 31cm tall and 30cm wide, which is about the height of a wine bottle. So it suits a sideboard, a shelf or a bedside table rather than a living room corner.

What it does

  • Gives a soft light: the paper shade spreads the bulb's light, so it works as a mood lamp rather than a reading light.
  • Fixes with a magnet: a magnetic catch holds the shade to the base, so there is no screw ring to fiddle with.
  • Switches on the cable: a switch sits on the 1.5m textile cable, within reach of the shelf it stands on.
  • Takes a standard bulb: the E14 small screw socket takes a bulb up to 25W, or an LED of 3 to 7W.

Key facts

  • Price: €39.90 at REMEMBER, about £33 (convert it at today's rate)
  • Size: 31cm high, 30cm across
  • Materials: paper and metal
  • Socket: E14, bulb up to 25W or LED 3 to 7W, not included
  • Cable: 1.5m textile cable with an inline switch and a Euro plug
  • Voltage: 220 to 240V
  • Use: indoors only
  • Delivery: REMEMBER quotes 2 to 5 working days outside Germany

Who a pleated paper lamp suits

  • Anyone furnishing a first flat: it adds colour to a plain room for about £33. Plus it moves from shelf to bedside without any fitting.
  • People who like bright, graphic homeware: because the stripes run down the stand too, it still adds colour when it is off.
  • Gift buyers: it suits a housewarming present, as long as you add a UK plug adapter.

The limits

The lamp comes with a Euro plug, and REMEMBER ships from Germany. So in the UK you need a Euro to UK plug adapter, or a qualified electrician to change the plug.

The price is also in euros, and REMEMBER adds shipping at checkout. I struggled to find REMEMBER's UK delivery charge before checkout. Because the parcel comes from the EU, check for any import charges on delivery as well.

Paper is not as tough as glass or metal. So keep it away from steam and splashes. An LED bulb also runs cooler than a 25W filament bulb.

Finally, the Royal Academy shop in London sells a REMEMBER stripes paper lamp at £45. However, it comes in different colours, so it is not the same lamp.

Where to buy the Anna lamp in the UK

I struggled to find this exact colourway at a UK shop. So REMEMBER's own shop is the place to buy it. The REMEMBER Anna 'stripes' product page has the full specification and more photos.
