Patch Plants E-Gift Card

Last updated: 24 October 2026

The Patch Plants e-gift card is an emailed voucher for Patch, the London online plant shop, so the person you give it to picks their own houseplant, pot or plant care kit. Cards come in £10 steps from £30 to £100 and last 12 months. You can set the day it arrives and add a message.

What the Patch Plants e-gift card is

Patch started in London in 2016 and sells houseplants, outdoor plants, pots and plant care kit online. It says it works with over 40 specialist growers. In 2020, Time Out called it probably the best-known plant delivery service in London.

The e-gift card is the easy way to give plants without guessing someone's taste or light levels. The recipient spends it on anything in the Patch shop, from a £10 peace lily to a large Swiss cheese plant.

How it works

  • Choose a value: £30, £40, £50, £60, £70, £80, £90 or £100.
  • Send it by email: enter the recipient's email, an optional name and message, and a send date if you want it to land on a birthday.
  • Fast delivery: Patch emails the unique code within hours of the order.
  • Spend it on anything: plants, pots, tools and accessories, indoor or outdoor.
  • A copy for you: Patch sends you a copy too, so you know it went out.

Key facts

  • Price: £30 to £100, in £10 steps
  • Format: an emailed e-gift card, not a physical card
  • Validity: 12 months from the date of purchase
  • Delivery: the code arrives within hours, or on the date you choose
  • Plant guarantee: Patch offers a 30-day guarantee on its plants
  • Delivery on plants: free standard delivery on orders over £50

Who a Patch Plants gift card suits

  • New homeowners: they can choose plants that suit the light in their new rooms.
  • Plant lovers who already have plenty: they can pick the one gap in their collection.
  • Last-minute shoppers: the card arrives by email within hours.
  • Friends in another part of the UK: the card goes by email and Patch delivers the plants.

If they are new to houseplants, a sensor such as the FYTA Beam plant sensor tells them when a plant needs water or more light.

The limits

The card expires after 12 months. Remind the recipient to spend it before then, or the balance is gone.

It does not count towards Patch's free delivery or its £25 minimum order. If you buy a plant for yourself at the same time, the gift card value is left out of both totals.

It is email only. There is no printed card in the post, so print the email or write a note if you want something to hand over.

Where to buy a Patch Plants gift card

Patch sells the e-gift card direct from the Patch e-gift card page, where you choose the value and the send date.
