What the SURI Pro 2.0 does
SURI makes electric toothbrushes with less plastic in them. The Pro 2.0 is its current flagship, sold as SURI 2.0 when it launched. It replaced the original SURI 1.0, which Amazon UK now lists only as a used unit.
The motor runs at up to 30,000 sonic vibrations a minute, according to SURI. There are two modes, Clean and Polish, and a two-minute timer that buzzes every 30 seconds so you move round your mouth in quarters.
The TouchSense pressure sensor warns you when you press too hard, so you can ease off before you scrub at your gums.
The heads and the recycling
SURI's brush heads are made from cornstarch and castor oil rather than standard plastic. When they wear out, you post them back in a free mailer and SURI recycles them.

The UV-C travel case
The case is the main reason to pay £104.99 rather than £85 for the brush on its own. It holds the brush for travel, charges it, and runs a UV-C light over the head to clean it in about a minute.
