Luneta vintage bead jewellery is made by hand in London from beads taken off broken vintage necklaces and from old warehouse deadstock. Because the beads are at least 20 years old, most designs exist in one piece only. Prices start at £12 for a vintage hair clip, with earrings from £18 and beaded necklaces mostly £75 to £105.
Marianna started Luneta in August 2020, out of a need to make things by hand and a love of vintage. On Luneta's about page she explains that most of the beads come from broken vintage necklaces, so reusing them keeps them out of landfill.
Each listing names where the beads came from. For example, the Stripy Fruit Salad necklace uses 1960s Japanese striped glass beads and art deco spacer beads from a 1930s necklace, on sterling silver fittings.

Most pieces are one-offs. Many listings say "last one", so a necklace you like today may be gone next week, and Luneta cannot remake it with the same beads.
Upcycling is not cheap. Luneta says bead cost drives the quote, and some vintage beads have cost it £22 each.
Luneta sells from its own online shop, which has a gifts under £35 section. I struggled to find Luneta on Amazon UK.
From £12 for a vintage hair clip to £145 for a statement necklace. Earrings cost from £18 to £65.

Most are. The beads are vintage or deadstock, so designs are made in very small numbers, usually just one.

It reuses beads from broken vintage necklaces and old stock, which keeps them out of landfill. The clasps and findings are new.
