The Oura Ring 5 is a titanium smart ring that tracks your sleep, heart rate, activity and stress from your finger. Oura says it is 40% smaller than the Ring 4, with up to nine days of battery and no screen. The silver ring costs £399, both direct from Oura and on Amazon UK, where it was sold by Amazon on 4 October 2026. Most of the app's insights need an Oura membership at £5.99 a month or £69.99 a year.

Sensors on the inside of the band read your heart rate and heart rate variability around the clock, along with breathing rate, temperature trends, blood oxygen and movement. Oura says the pulse signal at the finger is much stronger than at the top of the wrist.
The Oura app turns those readings into daily scores for sleep, readiness and activity. The Amazon listing counts more than 50 health metrics, and the app connects to more than 40 others, including Strava, Flo and Natural Cycles. Oura states that the ring is not a medical device and is not meant to diagnose or treat anything.
The Ring 5 is smaller. Oura says it is 40% smaller than the Ring 4, with a rebuilt sensor set and up to nine days of battery, against up to eight on the Ring 4. It is still titanium and still waterproof to 100 metres.
The fit changed too. Oura says the redesigned inside of the Ring 5 sits differently on the finger, so a Ring 4 size does not carry over. You need the Ring 5 sizing kit, and sizes run from 6 to 13 rather than 4 to 15.
If you would rather have a screen on your wrist, our Pixel Watch 4 page covers Google's smartwatch, and the Pixel Watch 4 review looks at its Fitbit sleep tracking.
The membership adds to the cost. Without it the ring works with limited features only, so budget £69.99 a year on top of the £399 ring if you pay annually.
Sizing matters more than with a watch. Order the sizing kit first and wear the sample ring for a day before you buy, because Oura has no half sizes. A Ring 4 owner cannot reuse their old size.
The Ring 5 also has a smaller size range than the Ring 4. If you need a size below 6 or above 13, the Ring 5 will not fit.
Amazon UK sells the silver Oura Ring 5 at £399, sold and dispatched by Amazon. The Oura Ring 5 page on Oura's site lists every finish, the membership terms and the free sizing kit.
