The Soundcore Sleep A20 sleepbuds are small wireless earbuds from Anker's Soundcore brand, made to wear in bed while you sleep on your side. They block noise with a tight seal and play masking sounds rather than using active noise cancellation, and they last up to 14 hours a night in sleep mode. On 5 October 2026 they cost £79 on Amazon UK, sold by AnkerDirect UK and dispatched by Amazon, against £119.99 on Soundcore's own UK store.

There is no active noise cancellation. Soundcore uses twin-seal ear tips, which it says block three times more noise than standard tips, and a four-point masking system that plays sound over what gets through. In practice that means snoring, a pet moving around or traffic outside gets quieter and covered, not removed.
The buds sit flatter in the ear than normal earbuds, with soft silicone tips and wings. That is what lets you lie on your side without the bud pressing into your ear on the pillow.
In sleep mode the buds play sounds stored on them, such as white noise and nature recordings, which you choose in the Soundcore app. Sleep mode is the one that gives 14 hours.
You can also stream anything from your phone over Bluetooth 5.3, such as a podcast or an audiobook. Streaming drops the battery life to 10 hours.
The app sets an alarm that plays through the buds, so it wakes you without waking someone beside you. A motion sensor tracks your sleeping position and movement, and the app turns that into a report each morning.

Without active noise cancellation, loud noises still come through. A snore right next to you is quieter, not gone. If you only want silence, the Loop earplugs cost less and need no charging.
The Amazon UK rating is 3.7 out of 5, and 25% of ratings are one or two stars. Reviews mention a right earbud that stops charging and units that fail after a few months, so keep the receipt and note the 30-day return window.
Streaming cuts the battery from 14 hours to 10. If you listen to a podcast all night, the buds can run out before morning on a long sleep.
Amazon UK listed the Sleep A20 at £79, sold by AnkerDirect UK and dispatched by Amazon, which is £40.99 less than the £119.99 on the Soundcore UK Sleep A20 page. Soundcore's page has the full specification and sells a two-pack.
