What Is Farewill?
Farewill is an online will writing and probate service. It lets you create a legally binding will from home in about 15 to 30 minutes, without needing a solicitor appointment. Once you've answered their guided questionnaire, a will specialist reviews everything before you print and sign.
Farewill says it has helped tens of thousands of people make a will, and its customers have pledged over £1.25 billion to charity in their wills. It has won National Will Writing Firm of the Year at the British Wills and Probate Awards every year since 2019, and has a 4.9 Trustpilot rating from over 18,000 reviews.
For our full opinion on the service, read the Farewill review on the blog.
How the Farewill Discount Code Works
There is no code to copy and paste. The £15 saving is applied when you sign up through our referral link. Here's how to get started:
Step 1: Click Our Referral Link
Visit farewill.com/r/stiven-22866 to create your account. The £15 discount is attached to this link, so make sure you use it before starting.
Step 2: Complete the Questionnaire
Answer the guided questions about your assets, beneficiaries, executors, and any guardians for children. Each question comes with a worked example beside it.
Step 3: Specialist Review
A Farewill will specialist reviews your will for errors, contradictions, or anything that could cause problems during probate. This is where the service adds real value over a basic DIY template.
Step 4: Print, Sign and Witness
Under Section 9 of the Wills Act 1837, a will must be signed in the presence of two independent witnesses who also sign. Farewill provides clear instructions on how to do this properly. Once signed, your will is legally binding.
Farewill Discount Code Pricing
Farewill's pricing is fixed and transparent. Here's what you'll pay with and without our discount:

Farewill says its prices save you up to £150 compared with high street solicitors, and every online will is checked by a specialist before you sign.
Who Is Farewill Best For?
Farewill suits anyone with a simple estate who wants a will written online and checked by a specialist. In particular, it suits individuals and couples who own property in the UK, have children and want to name guardians, prefer an online experience over a solicitor's office, or simply want to get it done without spending £300+.
However, Farewill is not the right fit for complex estates. If you own property abroad, need inheritance tax planning, are setting up discretionary trusts, or expect beneficiary disputes, a solicitor is the better choice. Farewill themselves will tell you this if your answers suggest complexity.
Farewill is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Will writing is not a regulated activity in the UK, so this is the same for every online will writer, but it means you cannot take a complaint to the Legal Ombudsman.
Farewill Probate and Other Services
Beyond wills, Farewill also offers a probate service with fixed pricing. That differs from firms that charge a percentage of the estate's value, because the fee does not grow with the size of the estate.
They offer two probate tiers: a grant of probate application (for those who want to handle most admin themselves) and a complete probate service (where Farewill's experts manage everything from estate valuation to HMRC paperwork). Additionally, Farewill provides a direct cremation service with a clear fixed fee.
