The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro are Nothing's top over-ear headphones, with three drivers in each ear cup and a physical Flat EQ switch tuned by engineers at Metropolis Studios in London. Noise cancelling reaches up to 46 dB, and the battery lasts up to 30 hours with it on. They cost £349 from Nothing, and on 5 October 2026 Amazon UK had the White pair at the same price, sold by Amazon.

What the Nothing Headphone (1) Pro are

Nothing launched the Headphone (1) Pro on 29 September 2026. They are the step up from the Nothing Headphone (1). That pair came out in 2025 at £299, tuned by KEF.

The Pro keeps the square, see-through look but changes the materials. Each ear cup is aluminium machined from a single block. The arms are a titanium alloy that Nothing says is 45% lighter than before, and the glass is scratch-resistant 9H Panda Glass. Nothing also made the cushions 50% softer, the headband 10% wider and its padding 12% thicker.

The tuning partner changed too. Metropolis Studios in London tuned the Flat EQ setting. It also recreated the sound of its own mixing room as a spatial audio mode called Studio B.

What they do

  • Three drivers per side: a 40mm dynamic driver for bass, a 13 x 8mm driver for vocals and mids, and a solid-state xMEMS driver for treble. The xMEMS driver has a silicon diaphragm instead of a plastic one.
  • Flat EQ switch: a physical switch gives a neutral sound with no added colouring, for checking a mix or a recording. EQ is short for equaliser, the settings that boost or cut bass and treble.
  • Noise cancelling: ten microphones and a new 8mm silicone seal in each cushion give up to 46 dB of noise cancelling. Transparency mode lets outside sound back in.
  • Spatial audio: five modes with head tracking, including Studio B. There are also five EQ presets for British genres such as UK Rap and Grime.
  • Hi-res audio: LDAC is a higher-quality Bluetooth format used by many Android phones. Over a USB-C cable you get lossless playback up to 24-bit/192 kHz.
  • Battery: up to 30 hours with noise cancelling on, or 68 hours with it off. Meanwhile, five minutes of charging gives up to four hours with noise cancelling off.
  • Connections: Bluetooth 6.1, two devices at once, Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair and one-tap setup on an iPhone.

Key facts

  • Price: £349 from Nothing and on Amazon UK
  • Colours: White and Black
  • Weight: 327g for the headphones and 383.5g for the hardshell case
  • Noise cancelling: up to 46 dB, with ten microphones
  • Battery: up to 30 hours with noise cancelling on, 68 hours with it off
  • In the box: the headphones, a hardshell case with strap loops, a 3.5mm audio cable and a USB-C cable

Who the Headphone (1) Pro suit

  • People who make music at home: the Flat EQ switch gives a neutral reference sound without opening an app.
  • Android owners: LDAC gets the most out of a phone that supports it.
  • Headphone (1) owners who found them tight: softer cushions and a wider headband help on long days and with glasses.

Our Nothing Headphone (1) review covers eight months with the original pair.

The limits

The hardshell case weighs 383.5g, which is more than the 327g headphones inside it. Together they come to about 710g in a bag.

LDAC only helps on Android. iPhones stream in AAC, Apple's standard Bluetooth format, so on an iPhone the hi-res advantage needs the USB-C cable.

Battery life drops when you use LDAC, to 28 hours with noise cancelling on and 53 hours with it off.

At £349 they cost £50 more than the Headphone (1) did at launch.

Where to buy them in the UK

Amazon UK sells the White pair at £349, sold and dispatched by Amazon. When we checked on 22 October, Amazon had them available to ship in one to two days. Nothing also sells them through its own shop. The full specification is on Nothing's product page.

FAQs

How much is the Nothing Headphone (1) Pro in the UK?

£349 from Nothing and on Amazon UK, checked on 5 October 2026.

What is the difference between the Headphone (1) and the Headphone (1) Pro?

The Pro has three drivers per side instead of one, a physical Flat EQ switch and tuning by Metropolis Studios rather than KEF. It also has ten noise-cancelling microphones, softer cushions and lighter titanium alloy arms. It costs £349 against the Headphone (1)'s £299 launch price.

What does the Flat EQ switch do?

It sets the headphones to a neutral sound profile with no added bass or treble, so you hear a track roughly as it was mixed. Metropolis Studios tuned it.

Does the Nothing Headphone (1) Pro work with an iPhone?

Yes. It pairs in one tap with an iPhone. iPhones stream in AAC, though, so LDAC hi-res audio needs an Android phone or a USB-C cable.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 30 hours with noise cancelling on and 68 hours with it off, over AAC. Five minutes of charging gives up to four hours.
