What Petit Pli is
Petit Pli is a London material technology company, led by engineers and designers, that makes children's clothes from pleated fabric. The pleats open out as a child grows, so one pair of trousers covers more than one size. Petit Pli says its Versatile Bottoms grow through seven sizes, and they are made from patented ripstop fabric spun from recycled bottles.
The children's clothes come in three ranges. TinyHuman covers 0 to 12 months, MiniHuman covers 9 months to 4 years, and LittleHuman covers 4 to 9 years. Its face mask was on TIME's list of best inventions in 2020.
