The Stock Events app is a portfolio and dividend tracker from Stock Events GmbH in Germany. It follows shares, funds, ETFs, bonds, crypto and commodities across more than 50 exchanges, and shows every upcoming dividend, earnings date and IPO on one timeline. It is free, and joining through our invite link adds 5 extra watchlist spots. The one catch: after you install the app, open the invite link a second time, or the spots are not added.
Stock Events tracks investments you hold elsewhere. You cannot buy or sell anything in it. You add your holdings by hand, import transactions, or connect a broker, and the app shows what the portfolio is worth, what it has paid out and what is due next.
It runs on iPhone and Android. On the UK App Store it has 4.8 out of 5 from 742 ratings and needs iOS 15 or later. The app carries no adverts, and the Pro subscription pays for it instead.
If you would rather read an opinion than a spec list, our Stock Events app review covers how it holds up in daily use.
The invite link gives you 5 extra watchlist spots on top of the free allowance. Claiming them takes three steps:
The spots stay on your free account. You do not need Pro to keep them.
Enter each purchase with its price and date, and the app shows your profit or loss for the day and overall. Holdings in different currencies are converted into one total.
The dividend calendar lists upcoming payments, ex-dividend dates and payout history for what you hold. That shows roughly how much income is due each month. UK investors holding shares outside an ISA should also know that the dividend tax rise in April 2026 changes what that income is worth after tax.
Earnings calls, dividend announcements and IPOs appear on the same timeline, with a notification when one is due. US options holders can track expiry dates there too.
Set a target price on any holding and the app notifies you when it is reached. Home screen widgets show chosen prices without opening the app.
Pro adds unlimited watchlists, a stock screener and an Excel and Google Sheets add-in. The UK App Store lists Stock Events PRO purchases at £7.99 and £49.99, and the app shows which length of plan each one buys before you pay. A separate Stock Events Connect item costs £0.99.
The free plan covers the portfolio view, the dividend calendar, event notifications and price alerts, so you can use it with the extra spots before deciding on Pro.
It suits someone who holds investments with more than one provider and wants to see them in one place. It is most useful for dividend investors, because the payout calendar and income totals are the main part of the app.
If you want to buy shares, you need a broker first. Our guides to the Freetrade referral code and the Trading 212 referral code cover two of them.
