What is the Our Place Always Pan 2.0?

The Always Pan 2.0 is Our Place's flagship ceramic nonstick pan and one of the most recognisable pieces of cookware to emerge from the direct-to-consumer era. It's designed to replace ten cooking tools in a single pan: braise, sear, steam, strain, sauté, fry, boil, bake, roast, and serve. The steamer basket doubles as a colander, the modular lid vents or seals on demand, and the beechwood spatula nests directly against the handle. For most people, it genuinely does reduce what's in the kitchen cupboard.

The 2.0 update introduced Our Place's proprietary Thermakind ceramic nonstick coating, which they claim lasts 50% longer than standard ceramic coatings. It's made without PFAS, PFOA, PTFE, lead, or cadmium, and the pan body is crafted from recycled aluminium for even, fast heating. The oven-safe limit is 232℃, which is enough for the vast majority of everyday cooking tasks.

For a harder-wearing, coating-free alternative, Our Place also makes the Titanium Always Pan Pro, which uses a patented titanium surface instead of any ceramic layer. It's considerably more expensive but is built to last a lifetime. The Always Pan 2.0, by contrast, is the more accessible entry point — supremely slippery from day one and much more forgiving for everyday cooks.

Key features of the Always Pan 2.0 UK

Thermakind ceramic nonstick coating

This is Our Place's own ceramic nonstick technology, made without PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, lead, or cadmium. It's designed to be ultra-slippery from first use and to maintain that performance longer than standard ceramic coatings. The key maintenance point is to avoid high heat when the pan is empty and to hand wash where possible — both of which extend the life of any ceramic surface significantly.

10-in-1 functionality

The pan handles braise, sear, steam, strain, sauté, fry, boil, bake, roast, and serve. The included steamer basket fits inside the pan and doubles as a colander for draining pasta or rinsing veg. The modular lid locks in steam or vents it depending on what you need. Together, these features genuinely reduce how many separate items you need.

Recycled aluminium body

The pan is made from recycled aluminium, which heats quickly and distributes heat evenly. It's lighter than stainless steel or cast iron, making it easier to handle during everyday cooking. The construction is also compatible with electric, gas, and induction hobs.

Oven-safe to 232℃

That's enough for roasting, baking, and finishing dishes under the grill. It's a lower ceiling than the Titanium Always Pan Pro (535℃), but comfortably sufficient for most home cooking. The pan goes from stovetop to oven without needing a second piece of cookware.

Colour range

Available in Steam (warm beige), Char (matte black), Blue Salt (soft blue), Sage (green), Spice (terracotta pink), and, as a limited edition, Forget-Me-Not Blue — a bolder cornflower shade launched in 2026. The range is updated periodically, so new colours appear and limited editions sell out. Check the Our Place site for current availability.
