How the referral works

JPMorgan runs its Refer a Friend scheme through a platform called Mention Me. When you click our referral link, you'll land on a JPMorgan-branded page hosted by Mention Me. Here's what to do:

1. Enter your email address. The Mention Me page loads with introductory text at the top. You may need to scroll down within the panel to find the email input field and the "Confirm email" button. It's easy to miss if you don't scroll.

2. Use the same details. Make sure the name and email address you enter on the Mention Me form match the ones you use when you open your JPMorgan Personal Investing account. If they don't match, your referral may not track correctly.

3. Open an account and invest. Once you've registered via Mention Me, open a JPMorgan Personal Investing account and invest at least £500. You can choose from a Stocks and Shares ISA, Lifetime ISA, Junior ISA, Personal Pension, or General Investment Account.

4. Get your reward. Your 0% portfolio management fee rate will be applied within 45 days of your funds being traded. The fee-free period lasts six months from the date it's first applied.

Can't see where to enter your email?

This catches a lot of people out. When the Mention Me referral page loads, it often shows a block of introductory text that fills the visible area. The email input field and the "Confirm email" button sit below the fold, so you need to scroll down within the panel to find them. If you're on mobile, it can be especially easy to miss. Just keep scrolling inside the white box until you see the field.

What you need to know before signing up

The offer is for new JPMorgan Personal Investing customers only. If you've previously invested through the platform (including when it was called Nutmeg), you won't be eligible for the referral reward.

Other key details to keep in mind:

Minimum investment: £500 in a single contribution. This must be a new investment, not a transfer from another provider.

Eligible products: Stocks and Shares ISA, Lifetime ISA, Junior ISA, Personal Pension, and General Investment Account.

Multiple products: If you open more than one product, the 0% fee applies to all of them for the remainder of your six-month promotional period. Junior ISAs must be opened in the same month as your first product to qualify.

Other charges still apply: The 0% rate covers portfolio management fees only. Fund costs and other charges set out in JPMorgan's Schedule of Fees still apply during the promotional period.

Cannot be combined: This referral offer cannot be used alongside other new-customer joining promotions, such as the Avios offer or the Chase app cashback deal. Pick the one that suits you best.

30-day window: Your friend (that's you) must meet the eligibility criteria within 30 days of investing, otherwise the referral is cancelled.

Tax treatment depends on the individual circumstances of each client and may be subject to change in future.

JPMorgan Personal Investing is the UK digital wealth management platform from J.P. Morgan, one of the world's largest financial institutions. It was previously known as Nutmeg and rebranded in November 2025. The products and services remain the same, with enhancements planned, including a full DIY investment platform later in 2026.
