What Scrumbles is

Aneisha Soobroyen and Jack Walker started Scrumbles in London in 2018. Their own pet had ongoing stomach trouble that probiotics helped, so they built a pet food brand around digestion. The pair turned down an offer from Deborah Meaden on Dragons' Den.

Scrumbles sells cat and dog food direct from its website, on subscription or as one-off orders. In 2025 it moved its wet cat food into recyclable pouches.

What is in the Scrumbles cat food range

  • Dry food: chicken and salmon biscuits with 75% chicken in the chicken recipe, plus prebiotics, probiotics and omega 3 and 6.
  • Pouches: pâté, jelly and gravy recipes. The pâté pouches contain 60% meat or fish and suit kittens from 8 weeks.
  • Tins: pâté and jelly selections, and shredded chicken and fish in broth.
  • Bone broth soups: chicken and tuna, to add water to a cat's diet.
  • Treats: Krunchies for dental care, hairballs and calming.

Key facts

  • Pouches: £7 for 8 x 85g, £26 for 32 and £90 for 120

Who Scrumbles cat food suits

  • Cats with sensitive stomachs: the recipes add prebiotics, and the dry food adds probiotics too.
  • Fussy eaters: the range covers biscuits, pâté, jelly, gravy and broth, so you can try different textures.
  • Kittens and older cats: the pâté pouches suit kittens from 8 weeks, adult cats and seniors.

The limits

Buying in bulk or on subscription brings the price per pouch down, from about 88p in an 8-pack to 75p in a box of 120.

Some sizes sell out. On 27 October 2026 the 2.5kg, 5kg and 10kg bags of Sensitive+ grain-free dry food were out of stock, and only the 700g bag was available.

The grain-free wet recipes are made in a factory that also handles grains, so traces may be present. If your cat has a diagnosed allergy, check the ingredients with your vet.

Where to buy Scrumbles in the UK

Scrumbles sells direct from its website, where the full range and the subscription discount are available. The Grocer reported its move to gut-friendly wet cat food in recyclable pouches.
