Quick summary: Mobbin vs alternatives in one line: Mobbin is the broadest and deepest option for flow-based UI references across mobile and web. Refero covers web and iOS, and its Research mode starts from a design task rather than a search box. Page Flows (formerly Screenlane) focuses on hand-picked journey recordings. 11FS Pulse is the specialist pick for financial services benchmarking. If you have already decided on Mobbin and want it cheaper, my Mobbin promo code page has the current offer.
Four libraries. One is the broadest, one now does your research, one films the journey, one only does banks.
This Mobbin vs alternatives page compares the four tools that come up most often when designers look for UI/UX reference libraries. Each one does something slightly different, so the right pick depends on what you actually design day-to-day rather than which has the biggest screenshot count.
Four homepages, four different promises. Tap or click any screen to open it full size.
Mobbin is a searchable library of real product screens and user flows. It is the largest of the four and covers iOS, Android and web. The strength is speed: you search for a pattern (say "onboarding" or "paywall") and get dozens of real examples instantly, with step-by-step flow sequences rather than single screens.
the designer who wants the biggest library and strong flow browsing
Free tier / Pro £8 a month / Team £12 per member a month, billed yearly
Refero is a web and iOS reference library with strong filtering by page type, UX pattern, UI element and industry, and it has grown well past visual search. Research mode starts with a design task, so you describe what you are building and it returns relevant references, findings and practical recommendations.
Styles, currently in beta, breaks down a product's visual approach across typography, colour, spacing and components, and hands you a DESIGN.md file for AI coding tools. There is also a Figma plugin and an MCP connection for agents.
the designer who wants references and reasoning for the exact thing they are building
Free tier / Pro £10 a month billed yearly (£120), £17 monthly, or £250 lifetime
Page Flows, formerly Screenlane, sells video recordings of real user journeys. Tap or click to expand.
Page Flows is what Screenlane became after a 2024 rebrand (Screenlane and Page Collective merged under the Page Flows name). It focuses on video recordings of user journeys with annotations, which is useful if you want to see interactions in motion rather than as static screenshots.

11FS Pulse is a specialist platform for financial services UX. It includes real user journey recordings, expert benchmarking analysis and industry trend reports. If you design for banks, insurers or fintechs, Pulse is in a different category from the other three.
the fintech team that needs benchmarking, not just inspiration
Demo and quote-based; startup plans via application
Not a fifth screenshot library, but a different answer to the same problem.
Mozaika works differently from the four tools above. Instead of collecting screenshots, it opens real shipped products in a browser and measures them. A coding agent such as Claude Code or Cursor then gets the actual type sizes, colours, spacing and radii as numbers, rather than guessing from a picture. So if you build interfaces with an agent instead of drawing them in Figma first, it covers ground the reference libraries do not.
As of 18 October 2026, its library holds 588 decoded products and 550 design systems. You can browse all of it free with no card, and the free plan also includes a Chrome extension, a Figma plugin and 25 MCP calls a month. Pro costs $9 a month for unlimited calls, and there is also a one-off lifetime licence. Mozaika prices in US dollars only. It is also a young product, and its own pricing page says the customer list is still short, so treat it as one to try alongside Mobbin or Refero rather than a replacement.
The Mobbin vs alternatives numbers in one place, with UK pricing on yearly billing.

Mobbin has the biggest library and strong flow browsing. Refero is the one that starts from your brief.
Which of the Mobbin vs alternatives options fits depends on what your week actually looks like.
Pick Mobbin if you want the broadest library of real UI examples across mobile and web, particularly if your work involves flows like onboarding, checkout, subscriptions and settings.
Pick Refero if you want to start from a design task rather than a search box. Research mode returns references and recommendations for the thing you are actually building, and Styles is useful when you need to understand how a product handles typography, colour, spacing and components. It covers both web and iOS.
Pick Page Flows if you want video-based journey recordings rather than static screenshots, or if you are searching for "Screenlane" (that is where it went).
Pick 11FS Pulse if you work in financial services and need benchmarking, competitor analysis and recorded journeys with expert commentary.
If your work is journey-heavy (onboarding, paywalls, checkout, upgrade paths), you need flow-based browsing more than single screens. Mobbin leans heavily into this with step-by-step flow sequences. Refero has user flows too, and Research mode adds a layer the others do not have: describe the task and it returns references with reasoning attached. Page Flows takes a different approach entirely with video recordings of full journeys.
If you design for banks or fintechs, the general-purpose tools often do not go deep enough. 11FS positions Pulse around fintech-specific UX research, with features like real user journey recordings and expert analysis that go well beyond screenshots. The Pulse product page covers what is included.
Mobbin and Refero both publish transparent pricing with free tiers, making them easy to try before committing. Mobbin Pro is £8/month and Refero Pro is £10/month, both on yearly billing, and Refero also sells a £250 lifetime licence. Page Flows also publishes pricing publicly. 11FS Pulse is quote-based, which usually means it is aimed at teams with a budget rather than individual designers.
For most product designers, Mobbin is the default choice. It has the largest library, strong flow browsing, and covers mobile and web comprehensively. If you want task-led research or the Styles breakdown of a product's visual language, Refero is a strong alternative. If you want journey recordings on video, evaluate Page Flows. If you are in fintech, 11FS Pulse is the specialist tool your competitors are probably already using.
You do not necessarily need to pick just one. Several designers use Mobbin for flow research and Refero for task-led research and web layout inspiration alongside each other.
No. Screenlane and Page Collective rebranded to Page Flows in July 2024. The old screenlane.com domain redirects to pageflows.com. If you are searching for Screenlane, that is the current product. Source: PR Newswire announcement.
No, Mobbin is slightly cheaper. Refero Pro is £10/month billed yearly (£120), £17 month to month, or £250 for a lifetime licence. Mobbin Pro is £8/month billed yearly. Both have free tiers, though Refero's free plan opens only around 3% of its library. Refero also gives students 40% off the monthly plan.
Yes. Some designers use Mobbin for deep flow research and pattern analysis, and Refero for task-led research, web layout and landing page inspiration. The tools overlap but do not fully replace each other.
11FS Pulse is purpose-built for financial services UX. It includes recorded user journeys, expert benchmarking and industry analysis that the general-purpose tools do not offer. It is more expensive and aimed at teams, but if fintech UX is your full-time job, it is a strong contender.
Refero has an MCP connection and its Styles beta exports a DESIGN.md file for AI coding tools. Mozaika is built entirely around agents: it measures live products and passes the real type, colour and spacing values to tools like Claude Code and Cursor through MCP. It is free to browse, with Pro at $9 a month.
Yes. Mobbin offers 50% off Pro for up to two years for eligible students and educators. I have covered it in detail: Mobbin student discount UK.
